Volunteer Position: Treasurer – Women Standing Together

About Women Standing Together
Women Standing Together is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women through connection, mentorship, and opportunity. We’re a dynamic community of leaders, entrepreneurs, and advocates working together to make a positive impact.

Role Overview
We’re seeking a Volunteer Treasurer to join our Board of Directors and help guide the organization’s financial health. This person will manage our budgeting and financial reporting processes, ensuring transparency and accuracy in all fiscal matters.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and track the organization’s budget and expenses

• Assemble and present monthly financial reports to the Board

• Manage incoming sponsorship checks and donations

• Record and track transactions in QuickBooks

• Provide guidance on financial decisions and sustainability

• Collaborate with the board to support strategic goals

Time Commitment
Approximately 3–4 hours per month, including one virtual monthly board meeting.

Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software

• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills

• Understanding of nonprofit financial management preferred

• Commitment to the mission of empowering women through connection and leadership
